The international webinar on teaching English to young learners was held on Saturday, November 14th 2020 via Zoom with more than five hundred people attended this webinar. The topic of the webinar was “Effective English Teaching for Young Learners during the pandemic: Critical Issues”. The very first speaker as keynote speaker of International Webinar was Prof. Bachrudin Mustafa, M.A., Ph.D from Indonesia University of Education. He explained the topic about "Essentials in Teaching English Young Learners for Indonesian Elementary Schools: An Update 2020". Here are some summary notes that I got from his explanation: •• Excellent teachers of English know who children are and how these children learn.  Traditional Dance What is Traditional Dance? Traditional dance is a dance that has been developed and preserved from generation to generation in a certain area. This dance usually has various characteristics that highlight the local philosophy, culture and wisdom in which the dance develops. So it can be guessed that each region will have its own uniqueness. Characteristics of Traditional Dance Traditional dance has several characteristics that lead to the categorization of traditions. Some of these features include: 1. Taught and studied orally or by word of mouth directly from the old generation to the next generation 2. Contains a philosophy that comes from the thoughts of local local wisdom. 3. Wearing traditional costumes typical of the local area 4. Accompanied by traditional local music 5. Have a standard or basic movement rules that must be followed 6.
